Start with the spot, not the plant
Measure the height you have before you fall in love with a tree. A floor plant that is too tall for the corner looks wrong in a way no amount of realism fixes. Every product page carries the size in its specifications panel, taken from the supplier rather than estimated.
Mix them in with real ones
If you have any plants that have survived you, put one near the artificial one. The eye reads the group rather than the individual, and the whole arrangement lifts.
Keep them out of the spotlight
A plant lit from directly above at close range invites inspection. In normal room light, at normal distance, it does not.
Dust is the whole maintenance schedule
Nobody in this category likes talking about dust, so we will. It collects, like it does on a bookshelf, and it wipes off with a damp cloth every few weeks.
Outdoors
Everything we sell is UV-resistant and waterproof, so it is suitable for outdoor use on a balcony, a patio or a fence. We do not put a number of years on that, because we have not tested one.
